The Brazilian petroleum directorate ANP
The ANP is an integral authority of the Federal Public Administration, tied with the Ministry of Mines and Energy. It has for purpose to promote the regulation, the act of contract and the fiscalization of the integrant economic activities of the petroleum industry.

Petrobras
Petrobras was incorporated in October 1953 to operate in the Brazilian oil sector. Petróleo Brasileiro S/A started operating with the handover of the assets from the former National Petroleum Council (Conselho Nacional do Petróleo-CNP).
