Science and Research Outlook (SRO)
Science and Research Outlook (SRO) is a quarterly on-line newsletter detailing the breadth of HSE's science and engineering activities, replacing Offshore Research Focus (see below) from September 2004. Users of this interactive website are able to search and print articles relevant to their discipline, receive regular email notifications of newly published articles and customise output to their specific needs. The site also allows users to provide important feedback to HSE on its science and research activities.

Offshore Research Focus (ORF)
From 1977 until 2004 Offshore Research Focus (ORF) reported on Government funded research and development work associated with offshore oil and gas exploration and production. ORF was sponsored by the Offshore Safety Division of the Health and Safety Executive and published quarterly by the Steel Construction Institute.

The UK Civil Aviation Authority - research activity
The Civil Aviation Authority is the UK's specialist aviation regulator. Through its skills and expertise it is recognised as a world leader in its field. The research projects conducted by Safety Research Group (SRG) relate exclusively to the regulatory standards applied by the CAA to the certification, maintenance and operation of UK registered aircraft, the licensing of aircrew (including medical aspects), air traffic services within UK regulated airspace and aerodrome licensing.
