Minutes of the Ninth ICRARD Meeting
Minutes of the 2006 ICRARD Meeting includes link to member presentations of the national research programmes.
The meeting was held in the offices of the UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) in London, UK.
Given the wide range of research themes identified by members in the presentations of their national programmes, several potential areas for collaboration were identified, including Asset integrity, ageing infrastructure, Performance of structures and pipelines, metocean environment, Accidental loads (eg ship collision) on structures, Fire and explosion, Drilling and well control, Helicopter safety, EER, Leading and lagging performance indicators, Integrated operations, Human factors, Diving, Decommissioning and Environmental issues.
As one of the meetings action points it was agreed that the preferred approach would be to identify common research themes for placing on the ICRARD website. HSE will consider each country presentation in order to identify common themes and make proposals to members.
