Minutes of the 10th ICRARD Meeting
Minutes of the 2007 ICRARD Meeting includes link to member presentations of the national research programmes.
The meeting was held in the offices of the Petroleum Safety Authority of Norway on 12 & 13 September 2007.
Members provided electronic presentations on their national research programmes. (See enclosure).
The International Committee on Regulatory Research and Development (ICRARD) is dedicated to disseminating knowledge in the area of health, safety and environment in the petroleum sector. The meetings of ICRARD are held annually and hosted on an alternating basis among Member Authorities.
The presentations at the 2007 meeting, along with associated questions and discussions, confirm that many of the challenges in the R&D area are shared by the member countries. The ICRARD website has consolidated its role as a good and effective instrument for disseminating information about R&D activities across national borders.
There was broad consensus that it is important to contribute to building networks across national borders, and there is therefore a need to continue to build on the cooperative efforts of ICRARD. If the network should evolve, there will be greater opportunities for implementing joint projects in the future.
